Anyone hunt groundhogs around there?
I will never forget the "groundhog wars" in the hayfields and pastures around there.
I lived at the end of sr601 by the upper dam, in the big bend of the Dan River.

I work in that area.  Pretty place though I have only hunted turkeys there.

Not from the area, but I talked to a bunch of folks from Patrick County at the 4H State Shoot this weekend. They had quite a good team, and came away with quite a few awards.
