Can anyone send me a link to an older post that listed a northern va. gun smith that will cut your barrel down, thread and re-attach your flash hider? I thinks it's older than 30 days b/c i couldn't find it in the search.

any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Otay I am a leetle slow, what did you want done exactly?

If the barrel is less than 16 inches OAL I would have to see a tax stamp for a SBR, just CMA

I'm a newly wed and cannot, just yet, justify a $200 SBR tax stamp. I have a SAR-48 (springfield fal clone). I would like to have the barrel shortened to 16 inches and the flash hider re-attached.

I'd like to take it to the blackwater class as a back up.

If he can't do it, no worries, i'll keep searching. Thanks for responding,
