Yeah, I was looking at the one they sell at Galyan's and they want $100 for it.  It's neat, but not that neat.  I suppose there's a cheaper one at Wally world or K-mart, but if you could borrow one for free, that's even better.

I have 1 or 2 of those very big blue tarps but no way of suspending them.  You're free to use them if you can find a way.

I'll borrow one or two from the team to set up.  I've already helped pay for these so it's no problem to borrow them when I need to.  The take less than two minutes to setup and take down.

Update: I have one tent lined up and I can get another if you guys think we'll use it.

For the big umbrella shades, the best I've seen is at Costco.  I bought one from WalMart from $100 and when I got home realized that it didn't tilt which is a pain in the ass as the sun starts to set.  The ones at Costco are around $100 too but they tilt and appear to be better quality.

BTW. we bought ours after seeing how well they worked for other people at the BRD last spring.

I'm bringing:

target AR
3-gun AR
shotgun
pistol
lots of ammo
holster
pistol mag carriers
rifle mag carriers
shotshell holders
vice and "the toolbox"
umbrella
folding chairs
folding table
ice chest filled with water
snacks

The one thing I forget to put on my list is a Lula loader!

Also, should I bring an AK?  I can bring either my SAR-1 or SAR-2.  What say you?

Actually after digging them out of the closet I decided to bring the SAR-1.  I'm already bringing too much as it is...unless someone that has never shot an AK-74 wants to give one a test drive?

I have one of those EZ-up canopies. I can bring it. Any thoughts on carpools yet? I hate to drive down there alone. Maybe even a early a.m. breakfast along the route so there can be a caravan. I have a nice new Ram Quad cab, but I have visions of a flat tire in the boonies with a truck full of guns.

Yeah Hoplophile.  You shot 9x19s SAR2 faster than I can .  It's like shooting a .22 Magnum, I imagine with an AK74 brake is must really be light.

You are a stone cold BADASS. I hereby challenge anyone else to wear a sombrero while shooting the 3 gun match. Extra points if you're using Mexican web gear.

I should have a plain jane USGI style setup hanging around here somewhere. Anyone who wants to use it is more than welcome.

Nope.

I'll be leaving Friday, but I'm not too sure what time.  I have Friday off, but I'm working Thrusday night, so I'll probably take a short nap then hit the road.  I want to be there early enough to have a go at the three-gun on Friday PM, but that's just the plan for now.

I have plenty of room in the cop car though.
