I shoot IDPA regularly and three gun whenever possible so thought it would be natural to get some subgun matches going. Was thinking about doing something quarterly.  I contacted Tony Gooch, head of the American Class Three Association, to get their subgun rules.  He puts on the matches at Knob Creek.  At the time he was recovering from cancer, but he pretty much blew me off and never sent out even an application for AC3A, much less the rules.

I might try to do something informally at Cavalier, but nothing on a regular basis.  I work Saturdays and some Sundays.  Am still interested, but lost the drive to organize it.

Heh heh heh......want some help organizing that match Mr. P?  I'll just need to borrow one of the toys to compete though....

We could do it on the first or second Sunday of the month, that would probably fly with Lonnie.

 

Where is Pungo?  Are there any target stands or steel poppers available?  We would be able to use IDPA's props at Cavalier including barricades and barrels.  Cavalier is located about thirty miles Northwest of Richmond.

Only snag might be scheduling.  The designated area for full auto has Cowboy Action on the first Sunday and shotgun on the second, I believe.  Third Sunday or the fourth Sunday in a month with five Sundays could be possibilities.
