Dear friend of the Second Amendment,

When one of our own needs help, we should be there for them.

Let me tell you about a fellow member of Gun Owners of America who
is running for office this November, right here in Virginia.

His name is Robert Stuber, and he is not a newcomer to our issues.
I've known Robert personally for more than a decade. He is a life
member of GOA, a hunter, shooter, collector and strong, articulate
advocate for gun rights.

He is running for the State Senate in the 17th district which
includes the City of Fredericksburg, and Spotsylvania, Culpeper,
Orange, Madison and Louisa Counties.

Robert earned GOA's endorsement with his pledges to:

* Fight for a repeal of Virginia's One-Gun-a-Month rationing
scheme... a law that his liberal opponent voted for when it was
enacted.

* Support the rights of honest, law-abiding gun owners to carry
concealed firearms into restaurants and other places where they
may need to defend themselves.

* Promote broader acceptance of Virginia's concealed carry permit
in other states and allowing gun owners from other states to
legally carry in Virginia.

* Oppose all efforts to restrict gun rights as embodied in the
Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Put simply, Robert Stuber will be a reliable vote when GOA goes to
Richmond to lobby for our rights. Robert knows that gun control is
NOT crime control.

Robert's opponent, on the other hand, pretends to be a second
amendment champion and has voted right a few times to appease the
strongly pro-gun citizens of the district. But his opponent (Edd
Houck, D-Spotsylvania) has not been and will not be a pro-gun leader
like Senator Ken Cuccinelli and a few others.

You can tell a lot about a candidate by his friends. The anti-gun
teachers unions and the trial lawyers support Houck. He also
receives campaign contributions from some of Virginia's most
notorious anti-gun politicians including Senator Dick Saslaw.

Make no mistake. Robert Stuber is THE ONLY CONSISTENTLY PRO-GUN
CANDIDATE IN THE RACE FOR THE STATE SENATE FROM THE 17TH DISTRICT.

Robert boldly proclaims his positions everywhere he goes.

At his website -- http://www.RobertStuber.com -- he outlines his
conservative viewpoints.

But he is up against a well-funded opponent.

Thanks to redistricting and dramatic growth in Fredericksburg area
populations, however, more than half of the voters eligible to vote
in this election are new to Edd Houck, so he loses much of the
traditional incumbent's advantage.

The district is also much more pro-gun than ever.

This is our best chance in all of Virginia to defeat an incumbent.
With our help, Robert can win. If you live in his district, he
needs your vote and support (don't forget to vote!). If you live
near his district, contact his headquarters to help (540-785-4466),
and regardless of where you live, the Stuber campaign needs our
financial support.
