For those that don't know Junior_Gunnut is a friends son(also a member from the site) that I have been corrupting introducing/teaching shooting to. He recently joined the 4H shooting team that I am the rifle instructor for, and he just shot in his first  competition with a rifle and he did great.

Here are his results.
3-position .22 157/200 kneeling, 158/200 prone, and 106/200 standing.(silver award)
5/25 riverside skeet (green award)
Bronze in air rifle field target.
Gold in Seneca run ( total time: 8:58)
12/20 in smallbore silhouette (silver award)

Congratulations again Matt!

Great job Matt,

Just one question what is the Seneca run?

Keep up the good work!

EladEflow, the Seneca Run is basically a race, but people don't go at the same time.  You have to throw 3 knives, 3 hatchets, shoot 3 arrows, shoot a blackpowder rifle at a clay pigeon(for juniors you have to shoot a pellet rifle at a Silhouette target), canoe across the lake, and then make a spark with flint and steel.  They give you time if you miss.

congrat big matt.

i just got into this gun sport. i love guns all my life, but i grew up in liberal land, aka northern virginia.  i just recently got money to buy guns and quickly turned into a gun whore.  i bought too many guns in the past 2 months.  i need to get a house in 2 months, but the money keeps flowing toward guns instead of home downpayment.  well, i need a house to store the gun because apartment landlord is a anti-gun bitch, and i am not giving them a extra dime of my money.

hopefully i see you guys at the show this weekend in richmond.  i have never been to any show and don't know anyone.  if you can, i like to meet and say hi to you folks.  i probably can learn a thing or 2 from yall.  my initiative is that i got an ak47, aka asianthug47.
