Is pistol caliber full auto ok during the evening?

I've never been to the NRA range but I live pretty  close.

Directions:www.nrahq.org/shootingrange/nrahqrange/directions.asp
The NRA Headquarters and NRA Range are located at:
11250 Waples Mill Road
Fairfax, Virginia 22030
Telephone: (703) 267-1400

From the Washington beltway (I-495), take I-66 west to Exit 57-A onto U.S. Route 50 East toward Fairfax. On Route 50, turn left at the first traffic light, onto Waples Mill Road. The blue and white NRA Headquarters building will be on your right. The NRA Range is located at the rear of the building, on the north side. Bear left as you enter the parking lot and go toward the rear lower-level parking garage.

Range Fees:www.nrahq.org/shootingrange/nrahqrange/fees.asp
NRA Members - $12.00 per hour/per lane.
Additional shooter sharing a lane with a member - additional $8.00 per hour/per lane.

Non-members - $15.00 per hour/per lane.
Additional shooter sharing a lane with a non-member - additional $10.00 per hour/per lane.

Shooters under the age of 18 sharing a lane with an adult - free

50 yards, rifles up to .460 Weatherby Magnum are fine, rapid fire is fine although I don't think they allow full auto during normal range hours.   If you've never been there before there's a written saftey test you are required to take and there'll be a small charge for the laminated range card that shows you've taken the test.  You can't fail the test, any questions you miss they'll review with you so you know the correct answer.

I'm going to try to make it next wednesday, even if I have to fire in neutered mode.
I'm in Tysons Corner.  It's cool WALKING to The Sports Authority for $13/100 Winchester 9mm!

Maybe I'll drag along the 1917 vintage 1911......

Well, I had a lot of fun thanks to Hopo and SHIVAN.
My only advice is to take a jacket. You could see your breath on the range!!

No !!!!!!! Not Burgerland 22 !!(though it would be a good name for a wildcat ... the .22 Burgerland)

I seriously try to avoid that place , and China King, and Mr.Hero (Mr.Hero had a Million Mom March poster in their window).

Baja Fresh , or the Mediteranian Grill is where its at

Wednesday nights are always kinda hard for me, but FWIW, ill be at the NRA range at 830AM this saturday morning, while its still raining and others are still sleeping in.

If anybody can make it, that would be great. I've met some of you folks - like Shivan and LS and Cliffy but it would be great to meet more of ya.

I stopped going to Baja Fresh once Chipotle opened near me.

Anyone been there?

Don't get me wrong, Baja is great...but Chipotle is better.

Chipotle in the former Black Eye Pea on Eldon?
If so I read it closed down.

I know China King it's a chain I could live without. My kids like it and it cheap enough so we seem to have it in the house a few times a month.  I like the Chinese joint on Elden at Spring st in the strip mall.  For delivery only.  I have a real problem with Chinese food here as I lived not too far from Chinatown in Manhattan for many years.

I'm spoiled-

No, it's near Chick Filet (sp?) on Sunset Hills across from Target - near the new YMCA.

It's pretty similar to Baja, but I find the meat more flavorful...they also sell BEER!

That near that new Italian place...I want to try them both.  The place on Elden that closed was the somthin'or other Smoke House across from the Tortilla Factory.  If you like Tamales and other simple fare try Teocale Tamale behind the new McDonalds on Elden.

Yup, it's near the Italian place. There's also a small restaurant next to the Chipotle that I haven't tried yet. It looks like a sandwich shop.

I'll have to try that tamale place. Do they have pupusas?
