I received an email from a Chicago Alderman about an election for some other democrat running for office but whoever that was had no part in this so I'll leave that name out of it. My response was as follows "I do
not live in Illinois anymore. I left to get away from all of you socialist progressives. You can keep Illinois all to yourselves. What ever gave you the idea that I would ever vote for a dem?" Granted, I was being a smart ass.
His response to me was "You signed up for my emails" (I did not) and "I'll take Illinois over a state that hosts fascist hicks. Deal?" There is much more but I will condense it a bit.
My response to that was "I couldn't help but wonder how a politician would refer to a citizen as a "Fascist Hick" ?
His response "You need to read a book or two before your buddies burn them all" also "Another hick afraid of large cities cause the FOX News told me there be monsters there. Grow up" and "You want to cast
about with "Socialist" but don't understand the system of government the constitution establishes is a "Socialist Democracy". Then your feels are hurt when I call out your Party of Fascists for what they are".
He has no way of knowing this but I was born and raised in Chicago (The city of) and lived there for 50 years until I retired, so I found it funny being called a "Fascist Hick" and my reply was that the United States is a Representative Republic and that all rights are Individual not collective. In fact there is no such thing as collective rights.
There was more but I just wanted to point out the caliber of politician that exists in Illinois, specifically Chicago.
His name doesn't really matter but his tactics were always very heavy handed and "Machine" oriented not unlike many of the politicians there. Never going back. Sorry if my spacing is off, I try to double space but it usually comes out wonky.
