In IL, he would've gotten cluster f&cked for not calling the cops on his way home

In IL they would rather you call the police so they can arrive after the guy has made off with whatever he stole from your house. Then they would ask some vague questions write it down on their note pad, and say it will be investigated and that will be the end of it.
What a joke Illinois is.
