Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - FFL for transfer in Joliet/Plainfield area

Does anyone know of a cheap FFL that does transfers. I'm planning to buy a Springfield Professional from a website and need an FFL to do the transfer. Talked to Megasports, or Mega-rip as I like to call them. They told me the transfer would be 10% of the purchase price. At close to $2400, I'm not paying Megasports $240 to sign some papers. Any help would be appreciated.

Tim gave up his day job so he's probably better at getting stuff done now.   Just be up front with him about your expectations and he'll tell you if he can meet them or not.

I've used them twice. good people but very slow process. They mail the ffl
