lil late now I know but spikes tactical has a good deal on their stripped lowers right now, 89.95. and he can have it shipped to pekin gun thats where I've got the 3 I just ordered shipped to.

Spikes is still selling lowers for $89.99 and they now have a sale on DPMS lower parts kits for $49. Their BCG is good too for $149. You can save on shipping buying those at the same time. If your friend doesn't have a complete 16" upper, look at DS Arms. They have an upper that looks good for $275. It's probably just as good as your friend will ever need. One can get into an AR pretty cheaply these days.

10-8 Outfitters in Bloomington has stripped and complete lowers in stock. I cant remember the price off hand but I am pretty good buddies with the owner and the store manager. I will be shooting with both of them tomorrow and will post prices then. One thing you should take in to account when ordering a lower at a good price and having it shipped is. That you have to pay shipping and FFL transfer fee.
