Dear ICarry Members,

I’m happy to announce we’ve finally opened for OFFICIAL membership.  That’s right, we’ve evolved from just a website with news and discussion.  We are a registered organization now (currently DBA ICarry.org) and will eventually become either an LLC or corporation.  I’ve chosen to stay away from the non-profit approach, because I think the costs far outweigh any benefits.  So now is the time!!  We’re getting off the ground now.  This is the VERY START of a fresh organization in Illinois.  Now is the time to get in on the ground level.

Free memberships

Users/Newsletters -- Anyone can freely sign up to receive our emails, post in our forums, etc.

Reserve Members -- Anyone can freely become a reserve member by providing their full name and mailing address.

Optional paid memberships

3 or more levels of paid membership. Each level will have some sort of title associated with it. The fees are yearly and will go to improve our website, pay for our expenses, help us to advertise, and help our organization to grow.

Our membership system is still under construction.  When complete, your custom titles and ranks will appear automatically when you pay you membership dues.  For the time being, they will be manually set by the administrator.  Details and benefits of membership are subject to change at any time.  We’re opening up for membership a little early in order to help pay for expenses.  We’ve recently incurred some significant software expenses for the website.  The money from memberships will help us grow and evolve into something extraordinary.  The time for change in Illinois is NOW!!

Privacy and security: Your privacy and security of your personal information is our top priority.  We do not store any of your personal information provided when registering for membership on our website.  All billing information uses a secure page, and we do not store any credit card or other billing info.  We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose ANY personal information about our members, users, or visitors.  Your complete privacy is paramount.

Thanks for checking it out and a special thanks to all of those that have already registered!!  In order to make changes in this state, we need to become a serious organization.  We need dedication and commitment.  Our rights have been taken away.  We will not get them back by ASKING for them.  We will DEMAND they be acknowledged and respected.  Our problem will also not be solved simply by throwing money at it.  The antis have more money than we ever will.  We will solve it by working together.  Thousands or tens of thousands of us need to come together and fight this.  We have the people, the heart, the principles, and the moral high ground!!

12 members so far.  I'm hoping we can reach 100 in the next couple weeks.  If you've been waiting for a new organization that will fight for your RIGHT to keep and bear arms, we are it.  We are also actively working on establishing grassroots chapters/districts.  This is an organization that ANYONE can join and get highly involved in.  We don't just want your money.  We want YOU to be involved.
