Well it looks like our neighbors to the north got screwed once again....The Wisconsin GA voted for the overide....two reps in particular waffled on the veto override. Democratic Reps. Terry Van Akkeren of Sheboygan and John Steinbrink of Pleasant Prairie were the deciding votes. Both earlier had voted for the bill, but switched and backed Doyle on the override attempt. Rep. Joe Parisi (D-Madison) did not vote.
As with us Illinoisians....there is always tomorrow.....

I'm in favor of this--as long as the governor is willing to veto it.
Such is the logic of politicians (poli=many, tics=blood sucking parasites). |

My (wishful) plans of relocating "north" are now indefinitely postponed. Arrrg. Well, hell...there's always Indiana...
