If anyones interested, The LC M193 is $155 per case . the federal stuff is $3.79 per box.

Doesn't look like that's their price even if they had it in stock. $3.84/box = $192/1000

What? Both the Lake City and Federal red box are in stock

I saw the XM193PD also XM855PD in stock. I thought you meant the boxed stuff.

Yep.

Some people have been ok with it, others have had problems.

It seems like if you go through and inspect each round you can catch the obvious problems and the rest are usually alright.

I'm staying away from it myself, but your personal preference may differ.

Just in case anyone needs any, Megasports has Remington UMC on sale for 109.99 a case. They had .45acp and .40S&W.

Seems to be alot of sales going lately.

they didn't ask for mine. I just ordered some xm193 ($202.50/1000) and remington L223R3 (This is the remington UMC - they had it for $164.50/1000) from them.

Sportsmans Guide needed my FOID for ammo, though. That showed up today, and they screwed me on my XM855 order. They have a photo of the non-PD stuff, and even offer it in 20 round boxes. Since I ordered the 1000 round case, I got the crappy XM855PD sent to me. I'll be on the phone with them in the morning to have a little talk customer service.

I asked them why they needed it and the fella responded with this ::

The new law was signed by the Gov. of IL on 8/12/05. You can go to the
Illinois General assembly web site & click on SB0053 to find all the
details.

Just wait until they change the law to require you to show it in person. Then where you gonna buy from?

Anyways, the funny thing is, it's a stupid law because Illinois law only applies to those in IL. Out of state companies can feel free to ignore the law without recourse.

Well, on Tuesday they had at least a dozen of each caliber of UMC sitting on the florr with a price tag reading 109.99. So either they sold out, or the person you spoke to didn't know they had it.
