I am near Springfield, and am looking for someone to thread my AR upper. I was told that Oglesby and Oglesby were good, and called them today to ask about the work.

The guy who answered the phone was very rude when I explained what I wanted, and told me "We will not do ANY of THAT kind of work on THOSE type of guns, until we get a letter from the ATF"

WTF is up with that? Why would they need a letter?

So, I am looking for someone close to Springfield that I can take my upper to and have it threaded. Any suggestions from anyone?
