I'm of the opinion that this is a GOOD thing.

Expiration of the Assault Weapon Ban. The 1994 federal assault weapon ban is scheduled to expire Monday, September 13. Is this a good thing or bad thing?  
Good thing. It was a phony political ban based on cosmetic features of weapons that had nothing to do with crime prevention.

Bad thing. Gun control measures like this are reasonable and necessary to make our streets safer.
