Guess what???? Surprise, surprise. Despite OVERWHELMING support in Congress, Blago (Richie Daley's Secretary) Vetoed HB515. The bill that would have forced any police orginization to notify you if your guns are traced for any reason. There are more details to the bill if you check out the ISRA website.

A. It is clear the ISRA has zero political clout in Illinois to allow this to happen. Say what you want, political muscle gets things done and these guys do not pack the gear. I will not ease up on them until they learn how to play hardball in Illinois because as of now, they are clueless. I will stay a member and support them but they need a new president, someone under the age of 100.

B. It is time once again to write the Senators and Reps. We need to let them know and let them know with a loud scream into the wind that enough is enough. Daley DOES NOT run this state. if he wants to keep his mini Warsaw ghetto in business, fine but keep it out of the rest of the state. yes, comparing Chicago to a Nazi ghetto is a fair comparison. No? Think about this... No guns whatsoever, rampant and I mean rampant police abuse, corruption and even torture. Literally thousands of people sitting on their ass getting high all day collecting welfare checks so Richie can keep his job. Sounds like Socialism to me....how about you? I will be burning up the phone lines this week and writing letters. We need to keep the heat turned up so high that Rod runs home to his wife crying so she can cuddle him like the neutered "modern" male Communist traitor he is. Illinois has to take a stand politically against the city of Chicago. I have had it with my rights being micturated upon because of this urban wasteland. For God's sake Bobby Rush is an ex Black Panther and Richie's daddy used to buy votes amongst many other awful things. Hmmmmm....I learned quite a bit from my Father, God rest his soul. Think Richie did too? Enough is enough!

Any chance of an override?

IIRC, it had pretty strong support.
