Midwest Gun Collector's Association will be having a gun show this Saturday and Sunday, August 2 & 3, at Expo gardens in Peoria.

I'm going on Saturday--have plans on Sunday, and I think some of the vendors are there 1 day only. More selection that way....

The wife and I went on Saturday and had a good time. Found a few things I needed:

$24 NIW LaBelle 30s
$16.50 20s
$2.50 metal 20 round followers.

All in all, not too bad.

I found a $4000 USED HK91 and a $750 USED CenturyArms G3.

I passed on them though!

I stopped my Magazine Man's display and BS'ed awhile about AR15.com and some upcoming events.

All in all, it was worth the 3 bucks to get in.

I got my 20s from Magazine Man. Didn't realize he was an ARFCOMer though.

Also talked to Rob Werner of Law Outdoor Ranges. He has some class 3 stuff for rent down in Chandlerville. He also sells Winchester Ranger ammo, so I got a box of that. I'm going to have to head down there and play with his toys one of these days.
