They try to make him seem like a hard working rags to riches I fight for you kind of guy. I'm sure it is pure bullshit. I assume he is ruuning for Fitzgerald's soon to be departed spot. WTF is going on with the republicans here? Have they wrote off this state?

A self-made businessman, and a self described "Chicago Democrat". Haven't heard his position on guns, but as a Chicago Democrat, wanna take a guess?

Edited to add: I don't think the Repubs have written this state off at all; matter of fact, I think (hope!) the whole Chicago Democrat thing is going to blow up in their (the Blowjo crew's) faces. There are a lot of downstaters who are tired of the Chicago machine bias already, and we're not 6 months into this yet.
