Looks like it's a once in 800 year event, so kinda don't want to miss it.

Apparently it will be 9 degrees off horizon at sunset, to SW.

But between city lights and mountains to west, where will we need to go to be able to see it?

Will 160 towards Pahrumph be good enough?  How far would you need to go?

Clearly visible in the western sky, it's the bright thing.

Yeah, was able to see it from NW vegas; it probably would have looked more impressive if viewed farther from the city.
