it is hot, but not as hot as i've seen here. several years ago there was a shooting (not an OIS) over a shady parking space!

but with the heat, bad economy and people being generally pissed off over stuff like the oil spill in the gulf that's probably not directly affecting them, foreclosures, job loss, etc.

this one sounds weird. carjacking, attempted robbery of the casino cage, sounds like the script from a Tarintino movie.

Those damn cops....Trigger happy is what they are...the soon to be ex husband was just over cleaning his his gun in front of the house as the soon to be ex wifes new man was walking out. the gun must have just discharged, richocheted off the concrete (as it wasnt pointed at the vicitm, no way) striking him in the leg. Then the cops arrive and they dont just render first aid....they just drove up and executed that innocent man for no reason.

This is just the start. With more and more people out of work, with no income. People are going to become more desperate, and that will mean more shootings.

The casino robbery/carjacking/kidnapping didn't end up in an OIS. That was just some dude that tried to rob a casino and forgot where his getaway car was, so had to steal another

We've had an onslaught of people on PCP lately. I went 4 years with only seeing a handfull of people on sherm, then last week, we had 4 in three days. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but i'm sure drug use in general is probably a factor.

Thats the one I watched on the news last night.....but thats how they played it out on the news, i wasn't there so who the hell knows.....looked like a good shoot though from the way I heard it on the news.

sorry, i didn't hit the link. i thought you were talking about the guy who stole one car, tried to rob the Orleans cage, couldn't find the first car when he came out of the casino so he stole/jacked another car then wrecked it. KXNT said there was a shooting and Metro was looking for him in a trailer park and eventually caught him.

the DV incident and shooting didn't make the radio news.
