When I first moved to Nevada, I took this test and came out 57% redneck.

I just took it again today and it's dropped to 38%.  Guess that's the Nevada influence. =)

Any Nevadans born and raised?  I'm curious what y'all clock in at.  Lemme know!

39% dixie, definiate Yankee.  It was funny, most of my answers would place me in the northeast or great lakes, yet I was born and raised in Washington State

I scored a 45% barely yankee according to them,, I am native born and lived here basically all my life.  Dad and mom were both born in Southern California and moved to Nevada before their teens.  Test doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Hey!  Thanks for the responses.  Holy cow MeanSteve, did you really get 100%? O_o

Anyhoo, this test has been popular on Digg lately.

They say it's accurate.  According to Wikipedia, Nevada is supposed to be "Midland," which is what I got.  Also according to Wikipedia, pronouncing "Cot" and "Caught" the same is a California invention...  I find this interesting, because I can't think of how to pronounce them except for the same!
