So who's up for a swap meet? Wolfpack seems to have come across some nice wares thru horse tradin' so i don't see why we can't all do this sometime? I've got no guns for trade (then again, every man has his price) but lots of accessories i can get rid of. What do y'all think?

....I like the idea enough to hope it becomes a semi-annual event. And today I will initiate a search for a gun-friendly "food-place" to host it.

I'm like a crackhead when it comes to trading guns, I just can't stop.  I'd love to start trading more locally, so I don't have to pay shipping and transfer fees.

Need to meet out in the desert to test the weapons for trade.

I'll bring food and a grill.

If it's ok with Wolfpack, we can post up stuff here in this thread, to generate interest...and then we can do a designated meet date? Swap meet/shoot day!

sounds like a good idea, especially the testing part.  i guess we'd have to get out a ways (and keep it car friendly for those w/o trucks) but i think its a great idea.

only have a nice condition 96/22 (lever) to trade, but i'm a buyer.

Hey, Dan; sounds better than my "restaurant" idea!
Count me in for whenever and if everyone will provide $5-$10 nutritious food and bererages (non-alcoholic) we will have a great "shoot/swap meet"!!

BTW, I need a 410 or 20 gauge shotgun in near new condition, can be adult sized but prefer youth, also need a standard 10/22 in good-excellent shape.

I might part with my 10/22, I bought it for the wife so let me ask her. I'll post pics later.
No 410 or 20 but do have a 10 guage

WOW, we keep coming up with all these ideas to meet up and do stuff, lets see if we can actually do it.

This sounds like an awesome idea.. I'm definately in if it's on a day off, hell for that matter I'll take the day off..  I'm more of a pack rat than a trader but I have a few trinkets laying around..  Might get some ideas of what I don't want from other postings....

I am thinking that this coming weekend will be too soon, but what about the next one, 3/11/06? Say, in the early afternoon?

As for my trade wares, i'll have:

-BDUs, in both 6 color choco chip & woodland, sizes M and S
-new climbing rope (details to follow) & some other climbing misc stuff
-possibly a Marlin .22 rifle
-web gear
-AR parts
-bowflage kit
-holsters possibly

No idea what i'm looking for, but thought this would be a great idea to move some unwanted stuff!

I'm booked up for the next three weekends, Family is flying in on the 11th and won't be leaving until the 19th.
Plus 11th and 12th is race weekend, traffic is gonna be a biotch.
How about 25th or 26th @ 1100 at the pit. Spring Fling 2006
I'm looking for a .22 pistol and a 12 guage.

Maybe 1000 rnds shot through it at the most.

Has a little pitting on the bolt and in barrel but shoots straight. Have 500+ rnds
