They are out, has anyone seen one in town yet ?

Civillian version is called the PS90. I think POS90 was already taken by Intratec.

I have only shot the P90.....

FN has said for awhile it was coming out, but I have only seen one in a magazine.

I imagine there will be one at shot. If it is the same as the P90 with a longer barrel, it is definitely a candidate for a SBR!!

Yes they are out, I heard a rumor a store in Henderson had a few. I am going to go get one if its true.

Well, how much??

Where??

And is it the same as the P90 with a long barrel?

I've heard anywhere from $1350 - $2600 (gouging bastards!)

I just found one where the loser wanted $2800!!!!

Found a few at $1600.

What amazes me is the P90 was selling for $1100 for LE. Why is this one so much more now??

Guess the few extra inches on the barrel is not cheap.

That's where I got mine, I have to get a couple of photos. I was invited to go bunny blasting with some other guys who bought them. Results to follow.....

There was one on the EE for 1800. I know CMMG has gotten some in and a couple other places, but I think they are mostly going to preorders.

With the price of 5.7 ammo, you'll need to take out a home equity loan.

Does it use the proprietary P90 50 round magazines or the OEM cut job modified magazine they had on it at the shotshow?

Thanks

Leon at Center Mass Firearms in Henderson should have them in.

Im sure Citadel has them or will be getting them soon too. They stay on top of the black gun stuff pretty well.

Range Report:
50 round mag fits and works.
4 guys with PS90's
4 door Ford
4 wheel drive
40 minute drive to Searchlight
4 hour bunny blast
67 confirmed bunny kills
1 really unfortunate  cyote who  decided to respond to a gut shot Jack screaming for his life.
Everyone opened up on this poor hungry bastard. Must have had  at least 20 hits.

Average range 50 to 100 yards.  The cartrige shoots flat like an HMR. The reticle changes in low and normal light. Turns red in darkness. Gun was dead nuts. Took only two photos. Two people asked not to be posted, including store owner. Had a good time, forgot to mention 4 beers...

waiting for cmmg to release sbr versions, still going to be a toss up between the p90 and a new bushmaster with eotech, redi-mag, ten extra mags, four railed forearm, vltor stock, and one of Arin's slings. that should just about cover the cost equally.

For the money I would go for a Bushy. I just sold my rental house so I had some $$ for a couple of toys. Nothing beats a AR except maybe TWO  ARs, well maybe two ARs and a 308....
There needs to an ARFCOM bunny blast.............

Have to check out SBR thing, as long as it does not ruin the accuracy.

CMMG is selling the barrels already.

If it is the same twist, it shouldn't change the accuracy that much.

The P90 is designed as a SBR!!

They had to lengthen the barrel to make it legal. I think I'll wait for the price to go back to where it should be......by then the ammo licensing hopefully will lower the ammo cost.

Citadel has ONE for show says has 25 on way 15 sold they might be in within 30 to 60 days the only way he will reserve is with full payment of $1800 but the price may go up before delivery

The PS90 barrel will give you about an extra 140-150 fps. The new barrel does stick out, but enough to make it legal in non-SBR friendly states.

Ray Tanner and CMMG are two dealers that have gotten PS90s in stock more often than the other dealers.
Expect to save at least $1700 though just to be on the safe side.

Yet, semi-auto p90's are only running $1310 from the last mailer I received (Mon.).

Just a lil' bit of gouging going on here!

Very few dealers are selling them in that range.

Typical gun dealers charge 20% on top of the price of the arm in question for a resale then twenty bucks on top of that for sales tax. Let's do up us some arithmetic!

1310 x .2 = 262 (20% markup)
1572 + 20 = 1592 (total after transfer fee)
1592 x .07 = 111.44 (as far as I know, sales tax in Douglas is still a flat seven cents per dollar)
Leaving us with an out-the-door price of $1703.44. Holy jizz! If you don't have a valid Nevada CCW, expect to tack on another twenty five bones to take care of the unconstitutional NCIS check, leaving us with a grand total of $1728.44

So no, it's not much of a gouge. If you're only paying 1700 bucks, you're saving yourself three dollars and forty four cents. Don't spend it all in one place, buddy!

What Mean Steve posted is dead on. I used to work in a gun store before I went in the service. People could never understand why we marked things up. Geez, I guess getting a paycheck and paying bills for us guys behind the counter didnt mean much to penny pinching customers.

The $1300 price is MSRP, the gun stores profit is in that 1300, no 20% markup over that price needed to make a profit. So yes, it is gouging because they have a product that is in demand and short supply for the moment. I'll pass.

Christ. MSteve is correct.

Let's get along.

I have six in stock (with a friend) in Henderson.

$1600 each out the door on a 4473. I am in them $1400 each. Prices will go down in time. Just wait.

Ammo on your own..........sorry......took forever to get the 192.  197 is everywhere if you need a LINK or help on shipping.

PLease let's get along.

PM me....

If $1400 is your cost that is reasonable.

The price I quoted earlier is a dealer for LE. Not the price from the manufacturer or distributor.

I know Bill's Buy & Sell used to charge $40 over cost for order items. Far cry from 20%.

I saw one at the Gunshow last weekend at Cashman. Citadel has it for $1795.00 but the one they had wasnt for sale.  It was sweet looking but in a bluish grey color for the stock. The flash hider looked like it was built in on the barrel with six slots cut out of the flared barrel end.  Jason at Islandtactical.com on S.Durango by Rhodes Ranch will get them for around $1395.00.  I might wait for him to get one in black. Only problem is the bullets...only FN makes them and its $24.00 for 25 rounds or was it 20 rounds? I dont remember.

I though Fiocchi (sp) signed a contract to produce the ammo in mid 2005......in hopes of reducing cost.

There was supposed to be a change in the FFL rules that allows the accpetance of a faxed copy.

There is supposed to be a way to check to see if a FFL is valid and that is what the feds used for allowing the fax copy.

All of the above was told to me by my FFL for my Class III.

Both are true... but a FFL dealer/business does not have to accept it if they don't want to.

Also, an FFL can accept the FFL via fax and then confirm it on the FFL EZ check.

Ron
