Carson range seems like the only option IMHO. Somewhere out in the sticks may be difficult, but I'm game.

ive never been to the carson one. I just know the pyramid one is a extra hour out of reno. but we should really do this be good times!

I haven't been to the Pyramid range (yet), but wouldn't the quickest way there from Fallon or Fernley be north past Pyramid lake? |

na its faster if you go to wadsworth then hang a left on 446 to 445. Its almost a 2 hour drive ether way i bet. I dont know were the carson range is but its only a hour from fallon as well.

I just go into open desert less than a mile North of the Pyramid highway range. I don't much care for organized ranges and all the nice benches bolted into the concrete...

The Carson range is off US 50 east on Flint drive by the model airplane airport. the range has a 50 yard pistol range and a 300 yard rifle range. It has covered concrete benches but no chairs. best of all it has no range master, you have to police yourself and it's free to shoot. My upper won't be here for a few months but I would like to come out and meet you all if you decide on where and a time.....I will bring something to shoot. Randy |

wheres everyone closer to reno or carson city........?????? If your gonna start something like that and theres about equal members than it should change evrytime...once in carson city once in reno and do it like that. i know a place in the reno area that is not out at pyramid...bring your own tables and chairs and targets and stands.

Beckett...we have already been thru this...no you cant shoot at the sparks marina......we could cruise 4th street and pick off homeless people.......damn cant do that either....life is just no fun anymore. |

I can shoot on the weekends or in the weekday evenings. Weekends are best for me. Carson or Reno makes no difference to me. Just show me the sweet spots and I am there.

I'll be at Pyramid this weekend, available for shooting Monday after that, back to Elko on Tuesday.
My schedule in a nut shell, I'm off every other weekend, every other Friday thru Wednesday actually. Don't care where we shoot, though 4th. St. sounds fun

Scotty, Glad I ran into you again! I wish the wind had been a little more cooperative, but still had a good time! I might bring a can of white paint for the steel target next time...
