.....'bout 2-3 years ago Blake at vegasgunworks.com built a FAL for me; seems a decent smith....'phone is (IIRC) 457-7400, just off Mt. Vista and Sunset.

If the AK is not a really expensive, why don't you try and re-finish it yourself? I started with cheapo mosin's and now I'm actually pretty good. There is something rewarding in beautifiing your own weapon. Really makes it yours....know what I mean?
