I'm headimg to the show on Sat., but not to familiar with Reno, where can my friends and I go for a good steak dinner after the show? Thanks in advance.

The steak house in the Hilton itself is quite good, although perhaps a bit pricey. Check out the menu while you're at the show. |

2 AKs in the whole show...a new wasr10 and a way over priced MAK90....guy must be in a dream world...$695, a RARE .223 version LOL. Lot of WW2 and cowboy stuff. Im getting ready to order a WASR3 from AIM...there new .223 model ....$329.00 plus $14.00 shipping. Ive got a ton of .223 from when I owned ARs. Ive got alot of AR mags I'll sell to buy new wieger .223 mags.

Bought 6k rounds of ammo at a great price. Only saw 1 NFA violation, (check out the SOG armory booth). Overall a good show with what seems to be a good turnout. If anyone wants to meet an incredible gunsmith check out Gene Shuey.

Yeah, luckily the ammo guys always show up, They have pretty good prices. There was a good crowd there for a friday, I always get a 3 day pass so I'll go back tomorrow...I have a really nice CETME for sale.....a good one not a screwed up one.

I went yesterday and nothing...no AKs at all. Im sitting there at a table with my buddy todayand an old guy walks up and sold a pistol to the guy next to us...he lays this AK down and I noticed its a .223 Norinco preban.......I had just ordered a WASR3 in .223. from AIM. Old guys AK was in great shape...he said about 20 orounds were shot thru iot. Well I ask him how much and he says $425.00...I borrowed the money from my buddy and got the gun...no way was I letting this go by. Gun is a lot nicer than my pics make it look. Hey Ron.....didnt think I would ever be able to replace my .223....cant believe I got one at such a great price.

Yeah a few months back I had to sell my Norinco 84s to fix my truck, didnt think Id ever be able to get another one......man I just got real lucky for a change.

I walked in the downstairs door by the pool with an M4 on my shoulder. A group of Kalifornicators were waiting outside... they all started laughing after I past and one goes ooooookaaaaaay. Gotta love it.

LOL...many years ago at the Hilton I walked thru the main lobby with a tec9....2 secruity guys asked if I was leaving and I said yes....i wont even stop at the bar....LOL they both in unison says "thanks You Sir" LOL, man you shoulda seen the looks on the people in the casino when I came strolling down thru there LOL

I typically walk in through the side entrance where the bus depot is located. Typically I have something exotic slung over my shoulder. The few wide eyed looks I get always makes it worth while.
It's truly amazing how many people don't seem to notice anything amiss though...even when I walk through the casino. |

I've gone thru the casino many times with an AR or FAL on my shoulder. I always expect some liberal gal to start screaming hysterically, but you are right in that usually nobody seems to notice/react.
