Garbage !!!  Garbage !!! I tested out two 1,000 round bulk boxes of the training ammo today. I had to quit using it because of the failures. These rounds were tested in a Busmaster 20" a
Colt 16"  M4 a rock river 16" and a colt 14.5" M4  M16. I found two bullets in upside down, 15 bullets seated about .030 too deep. After I returned to the shop a quick suface plate inspection revealed that some primers were seated way to deep .010 to .014 deeper than others., that depth with these primers caused a lot of soft strikes. All these guns were 100% new and all were inspected with headspace gauges by me and passed after the fact. One of these boxes came from ammoman.

So I will only be using new ammo from now on. Anyone else have any problems with this stuff. ?

That stuff must have been made by the same people as the black pens that the Army uses

That's funny....... I have heard stories about those black pens. Nothing worse than being ready for full auto and thunbing out mags only to refill them again.  My thumbs are still raw from Sunday.

Yes it was the PD stuff.  I am saving the good 855. One box had a green tip the other did not.

Sounds like the 62gr. Olympic shit I bought at a Gun Show before I knew better. I couldn't get that stuff to work for me at all.

I bought 2000 rounds of the stuff. No problems and no defects. Functioned in some of my AR's that wouldn't cycle Wolf or Barnaul. My stuff is PD ammo but doesn't have the green tips painted on.

thanks,
Ron

Yes that is the stuff. Try it and let us know. Why pay that much for reject stuff when you can get new stuff ?

I'm going shooting sunday. I've loaded up about 30 mags already. After reading this I'm definately not loading any more of that stuff until I see how it shoots. Its bad enough loading mags at a shoot , but unloading and then reloading is no fun.I'll post back here and let you know how it goes.   Thanks a lot for the info,   AL
