Question guys,
I was just looking at the calendar and the last Sunday of May is Memorial Day weekend.  Is this an option for May's shoot?  I would think that lots of us will be out of town.  I have spoken to 5 people in California today who would like to travel for the next shoot but could not make it that weekend.  Are we looking at June 1?  Just asking, any thoughts?

that weekend doesn't work for me, but i seem to only attend every other time or so.

Off topic, but i've got a few handfuls of oddball ammo that i don't own guns for: .44 mag, 16ga shotgun, etc. Free to a good home, i'll try to bring it to the next shoot. Also, i've got a couple hundred  .357 or .38 casings to whoever wants them.

Anyone have any thoughts on the date for this month's shoot??  Does June 1st work or is Memorial day weekend going to be it(25th)?

It looks like Saturday May 24th is the day that has been set for the next DBS shoot.  I am just going with the flow here and reporting what I am reading over at assaultweb.

Maybe Memorial day weekend might bring in some more out of town/state shooters.  That would be very cool.

We had a great shoot!  This was the first DBS shoot I have attended in the summer heat (truck thermo read 105 @2pm) and it felt great except for the last hour.  I guess I have to get a little more used to it.  The only disappointment for me was all the guys that could not make it especially you outtatowners.  You guys are really missing a great experience!  You kali dwellers REALLY need to come out and shoot with us.  The area where we shoot is only about 25 miles across the border.  It is really worth the trip.  Next month will include delivery of our next group ammo buy.  Announcement will post on June 1.  Here are a few pics......Video will be posted shortly.

It's not summer by the calendar yet.  Wait until July and August.

Mrs. Different and I just came back from running at the city park.  100 degrees outside and I did three miles of running in 22:36.  Not bad for a gray haired guy.

The last DBS in April that I went to, when it wasn't even hot I got peeling skin and sunburn for wearing shorts and t shirt.  I'd rather be hot with a bunch of water than sunburned.  I look like a iguana when I'm peeling...hahahha.  Sunblock....hmmm...now that's a concept.....

I know what you mean about the sunburns.  I don't mind the heat but I cover up more than Marlon Brandon in the Island of Dr. Moreau.

(Thats me enjoying a Pina Colada slushie with Larry in the top pic)
