On the WBAY homepage (tv station in GB) theres a bunch of pics of happy hunters with their deer.

One of them is a pic of a proud little guy or gal, 10-12 years old, showing off his/her 6 point buck in front a baitpile with what looks to be more than two gallons of bait.

What say you all - should someone dime him/her out to the DNR?

You tha man.  Let's get dad in trouble with the law so the youngster really remembers his year.

Tis the season to make lives miserable over social justice issues.

Only if you want to be the reason his son never gets to enjoy the sport with him. It's not a blatant over baiting, questionable at most. The people who deserve to get in trouble for that are the people whom bait with 100lb bags of corn at a time.

If you mean the one with the apples on the corn, yup probably more than 2 gallons. But "probably" won't stand up in court. A warden would have to actually fill 2 gallon containers from the bait pile before writing a citation. I've seen much bigger piles than that in the Nicolet... none of my business.

Let it go! The DNR is ready to fine everyone for a little infraction of the rules.
You get a stiffer fine from the DNR than if you did an armed robbery!

I'm not about to call about some stupid picture regardless of what flameingass says but "snitches get stitches" is a great inner city saying that is one of the reasons that culture will not be sucsesfull.

Bait pile? What bait pile? That deer probably got too close to the garden refuse pile.
