Yep, I'm the second craziest freak. Probably first. Maybe. Funny part is I wondered who might go and thought of asking but thought surely no one would be so crazy as to consider it. I've already shopped some airfare and hotel details and was just thinking about pulling the trigger. I thought about driving but it didn't seem worth the hassle, especially for one. Better deals flying to San Antonio. I flew down to the AAC silencer shoot last fall just because –– saw some posts about it, looked cool, got a deal on the plane ticket, pulled the trigger... and good times were had. I regret not knowing about it in earlier years. Had to FedEx back my door prize winnings for fear of the argument with TSA about "accessories" that should be legal in my checked baggage. That event was moving to TN/AR border outside Memphis this year for October –– at a high speed training facility –– but was cancelled recently (moved to spring 2011). A couple days after I learned that, this popped up. Now with that trip off the radar, this seems like it just might be a winner. I was told there is a 3-gun match that "you should shoot" on Sunday but I don't see trying that for the first time with a bunch of hard core TX folks. So the question is, who has the big party R.V./bus for a dozen of us?!?!?!? |

I moved to Austin in June and live 30 minutes from this range. It's by far the coolest range that I've ever seen. I'm stuck in a rinky dink apartment until my house in Grafton sells and unfortunately no tents are allowed. I know I met Spray at Flame's first reloading class (I had the Sportster). Liberty Hill makes Grafton look big so look for hotels in Cedar Park, TX.
I shot the monthly 3 gun match with a few of the Larue guys 2 weeks ago. If possible, definitely stick around for Sunday's match after the event. There are always newbies at the shoots and only a few sponsored guys shoot the matches. I rocked my Fobus holster from 5 years ago plus nothing like having a 3 gun match containing everything from short range plate racks and poppers to Larue targets placed at 435 yards! |

Final edit ..... as I sit here listening to C.W. M C Mcall on repeat , think I have now listened to convoy about 30 consective times singing my lyrics to make sure they flow nicely, and the do, Still a few lines I would like to change, but it's just not coming to me
 ....... I think if i leave ot on much more my co-workers will start smashing my radio.
