When I first looked at that photo I thought "holy crap that cop is doing a building search with no mag in his rifle", but when I looked closer he does have a mag in there.

I drive to work and home through this neighborhood every day. On a few occasions I have seen them doing drug busts in full tacticool gear. Lots of shiney new toys and battle clothes. The armored vehicle I see sitting at the station looks like it is from the 60s though.

They recently replaced them not too long ago. The officer I talked to said that he likes the AR but he just needs to get used to it a little first. I think they are Bushmasters, but don't quote me on that.

I also know that some brown county sheriff's carry HK G36's I've seen them in there squad's while parked in the sallyport... They never are willing to let me fondle them though..

This is the guy they are looking for. It looks like a bunch of ants after syrup around here. County, City and State cars involved circling the blocks and a news crew on every corner. They had the Eagle Rescue chopper circling around earlier.Escapee

Oconto County has Bushmasters I am almost positive. Someone who works in the courthouse told me that they got some of the "surplus" M16s. I am not so sure about that. |

I checked it out today. GBPD carries Bushmaster rifles.
 They were carrying an 870 and the Ruger PC4 .40 cal carbines. |

Depere PD has surplus M16's. They were looking at replacing the uppers with short barrels and semi trigger groups. I have not talked to their armorer for a while so I do not know how far they got.

few yrs ago when there was a shooting by bay beach i stoped by a gas station for coffee
the cop had a loaded ar sitting on his front seat i told him a story about my father when he was a cop when they were eating lunch at the eagles club a homeboy broke the window and tried to steal a shotgun out of the lock up in the front cop didnt seem like leaving his weapon out in the open like that moral of the story secure your weapon dumb ass |
