Gander just dropped all of their M1A prices to match or beat Sportsman's.   I unloaded a couple of guns there and snagged the SOCOM II.  The M1A basic is now ~$1299 and the stainless loaded is ~1499.  The SOCOM 16 is near the Sportsmans price of ~$1479.
Gander also has a CAI M1Garand for $699.   It is the cleanest CAI M1 I have ever seen.  The gunsmith checked headspacing and it is supposed to be AOK.

I explained to them why it was over priced, but since it just got in there, they are going to keep the price where it is for now.

I don't even waste time explaining it to them they're overpriced on almost everything. It's pointless.

Even though some stuff is over priced, I have found and gotten some real deals over the years at both the GB and Appleton Gander.

Do they still have the sp1 Colt in GB for $1299.00 ?

It had to be that much because it was "a pre ban rifle"

Last time I was there (about a month ago probably) they had some pistols for cheap.  I dont think they were used, not sure why they were so cheap.  They were mostly Sigs if I remember correctly.  Are they going to stop carrying Sigs?  I saw the SP1 when I was there last time as well.

They were most likely used. Gander sells their sigs at msrp when they have them, but they always have a good amount of used ones.
