Im at four now and thinking about one more does this seem to make sense? I really need to get a H&K 93 but I can dam near get two ARs for the price of 1 93!
I need to pick out one weapon and train just with that correct rather then jumping for gun to gun?

Well one I did give to my 18 year old son he picked my Colt Government Carbine so I guess Im back down to three.

I know there are guys out there with 10 x as many but they are probably collectors Im just a plinker.

What say ye

ak-47
another glock 19
weatherby over and under

in future

I currently have a 20" Colt mutt and a 16" RRA midlength.  Now all I need is a 24" and an 18".  The 2 I have now are different animals, the 20" is a 1-7" and the 16 is a 1-9".  The 16" is for shooting and moving and the 20" is for sitting at the bench.  The reason I want the other 2 (18" and 24") is because I don't have them yet and I feel the need to have one of each of each type of firearm that interests me.

I have no interest in AR pistols and I am not interested in SBRing an AR.  Now the pistol calibers and the 6.5 and 6.8...  I may have to do one of each on those.

2.

One in .223, the other in 9mm.  I still need a precision/varmint build, and eventually an A2.

One 16" mid-length and one 20" target for now.  I am thinking about a 24" target rifle for my next AR purchase.  If I would, then I would trade my 20" for a lighter profile 20".  The stainless target 20" is heavier than I need for dragging around and heavier than it should be for a .223 brush gun.  I am happy with the length and weight of my Armalite mid-length.  Easy to carry through the woods.  I see no need for a lighter profile type rifle.

2.  Plus a couple recievers.

1 is a CMP legal Service rifle I use for competetions.  Its a mutt, but it has RRA and WOA roots.

The other is a 16 inch Recce that I use for everything else.  Accurate, compact, and easy to carry.

Next project is an AKS-74N.  Which just got sent off to be built.  Now I just need ammo. . .

Right now 5.

I uses the for varmint hunting and deer hunting....and to look cool

I would like to build one for a project and would like to pick up a 9mm AR someday.

MP5A2 you should get a HK 93, they are wonderful rifles and would work great with your sear. My friend in Fargo ND has a 93 and bought a Vector 53 SBR to run with his Flemming sear. The V53 was about $1250 and is AWESOME in full auto.

You will be waiting a while for a RRA .308.   Once it is released, it should be a good rifle.  If you are getting it to shoot paper, .308 gets expensive real quick vs .223.  For a dual purpose longer range hunting and paper, .308 will definitely get the job done.

Actually there is surplus .308 available right now for around twenty cents a pop.  Even I can afford to punch holes in paper for twenty cents per hole.

I was thinking more about match grade stuff.    I have used both an AR10 and an AR15 for local high power type shooting.   You are right.  For just plinking there isn't much difference if the surplus supply keeps up and if Wolf .223 keeps going up in price..
