Hello

I am planning a trip to CO in October. I seemed to remember seeing an ad for a long range shooting spot in Canon City when we were out there in June. I have done some Googling and came up short with the name of the place.

Do you know the name of the place in Canon City that has long range (1000+ yards) shooting?
Can you recommend any specific place in Colorado that would be good to try out in October?

1000 yard at Ft Carson

Cameo goes out to 2000 yards. Very nice facility close to Grand Junction (Western CO).

Cameo is the way. I’ve only seen their stuff from the air on the LR side, but it looks amazing.

The long range is only open certain days, check their calendar. Steel out the 2K.....

Pawnee Sportsmens Center. Steel from 400 to 1000 yards in 100 yard increments. Open to the public, $20 per person.

Give them a call. If Mark or John answer, they can let you know what is needed for a non-member to shoot there.

Thank you to everyone who gave suggestions. I will be out in Colorado in a couple of weeks and I am looking forward to shooting at one of these clubs.
