It seems the pro-gun folks outnumbered the gun control folks in the comments for the zoom call. Leslie @ Rally for Our Rights did a screen capture of the 9 people running the zoom as they were reading the comments and they look a bit underwhelmed at the support for their initiatives.

Thanks for reporting, Walt. I'm in Broomfield. We're next. Certain members of our council slipped on a few statements in the past. They just can't help themselves and shouldn't even be allowed on an HOA board.

Of note - The chatroom of Wednesday’s meeting was dominated by gun advocates who expressed frustration that there was not an opportunity for community comment during the meeting and that there were no Second Amendment experts or advocates available to provide a different perspective during the meeting. “It’s really a lost opportunity that we can’t have a balanced discussion,” one person wrote. “There are so many ways to respond with this new legislation,” another added. “It appears like the speakers only represent one type of response.” I'm pretty sure that other comments were not about the meeting procedure. |
