You would think with all of this woke BS that getting a special needs child into daycare would be a breeze.  
We had our lil one in daycare until last Friday when he was allowed to walk thru a bathroom and into an empty childcare room that am.  The state survey team(inspectors) were there on a complaint and saw him.  The daycare owner was cited and in return he expelled out kid, no prior warning, notice etc and no time allowance to find placement.  Yeah it violates ADA and they have been reported but does nothing for our immediate situation.  Does anyone know of a daycare or sitter for m-f, approx 8am to 5pm?

Getting screwed over at this time of the year is going to make finding a replacement difficult.  Most of the churches have preschool programs, so that might be a starting point to check if any are having summer programs.

Nextdoor might actually be of some help if you put up a listing looking for daycare.

Already posted on Nextdoor.  Have a gal we are meeting Sunday to see.  We had one we were supposed to interview Thursday eve and she stood us up.  Churches are the one thing we haven’t tried yet

It sounded like your kiddo wasn't school aged yet, but if they are, the Douglas County schools expand their before and after school program to an all day program during the summer.  Not sure what's going on right now because so many parents have switched to working from home and aren't sending their kids to daycare anymore.  They could be desperate to get more kids enrolled or close up shop due to lack of interest.

Actually the daycares are full and can’t get enough workers. Couple that with owners who piss their staff off, it’s not a good mix. Nearly all the daycares we talked to have waiting lists and don’t want to mess with a kid that has special needs. Doesn’t sound like we gmc an get him into summer care this year, but will this fall. We finally found a woman who will watch him, hoping it works out.  Meanwhile, anyone know of any hungry lawyers?
