Alley House Grill Is very good.
Kips is good for a beer a very decent quick mexican food. Lots of good fly fishing around pagosa springs. It is almost that time. They have a decent golf course but it is probably a month from being open. One of the fairways you can see from highway 160 also provides for good tubing hill. If you are a gambler Sky Ute Casino is about an hour away. Chimney Rock is very cool but tours don't start until mid May. |

Of all the hot pools...try the "Lobster pot"....then roll a foot away in to the river...you'll see why. |

I grew up there and my family still lives there.... and I can safely say there is STILL nothing to do there worth a damn! Total resort town...hunting in the fall, skiing in the winter, and hiking in the spring/summer. Other that that... not much going on down there other than drink and shoot stuff.

I used to like the Pagosa Springs Spa, but last 2 trips staff has behaved like douche bags. I may not return.

Went skiing yesterday. I hated it.
Almost killed myself and a group class on the kiddie slope. Struggled to get up like a turtle on it's back. I bought some beers at the lodge , while my wife , daughter and daughter's friend went all day. |
