I need to get my lower shipped out to be engraved and they want the stock and buffer tube removed before I do so. I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to let me borrow their wrench or let me just stop by with the lower and use theirs real quick, Im gonna order one but don't want to wait another week before shipping my lower out.

Now if i could just get this damn thing off.... is it staked? If so, you might have to get the dremel out.  If it's not staked, it's probably loctite. You will need to heat it up with a handheld torch for a bit to loosen the loctite up and then it should spin off.

It isn't staked. I might take a torch to it but I'm really paranoid about messing the receiver up so i dont know...

you wont mess the receiver up. Just use a little propane torch and heat the nut up a bit.
and a receiver vice block helps a lot too. |
