For those that are interested......

October 9th --- Submitted forms to Sheriff
November 16th --- Signed and received back in mail from Sheriff
November 21st --- Forms in mail to BATF
November 27th --- $200 check cashed by BATF and posted to bank account
December 22nd--- BATF approved
December 28th --- Approved paperwork arrived at dealer and I picked up the supressor I ordered

Submitted Form 4's to Sheriff's office October 9th

Received forms back in the mail signed on November 16th (39 days)

Now I just need to get them in the mail to the ATF and start that clock

They sure took their sweet time.  They did they ask for anything special? Did you mail them in or drop them off?

You have to remember that I submitted them during the election season and I believe the individual or individuals that do the background checks for the Sheriff may have had some involvement in that recent school shooting as far as the investigation and after action paperwork etc..

With all that going on recently I was not surprised with the delay.

Forms in the mail to ATF as of today  11/21/2006......tick,tick,tick,tick......I just hope its not January when I get them back.

Individual Form 4,  and the paperwork arrived at my Dealer December 28th picked up can tonight.

if and when you do go ahead with your project,  submit both forms at the same time.
you still need to pay the $200 per item however you only need to send them 1 set of pics and fingerprint cards.
