Thats a little ways out for planning but I will definetely try to be there.

I'd like to give a little effort like that to spend a day and clean things up. I would imagine everyone
should bring there own shovel and rake-perhaps wheel barrows too?

Gee, I hope we get more of a response to the clean-up effort than this.  So far not a
lot of interest.
Everyone who shoots there should be wanting to participate.

Love to help......Need to know exactly where though, as there are multiple places to shoot.

Is it the place on the lefthand side through a gate down a step road? The dirt road it is off of is to the left off hwy 14?

It might include that area. It will be at the other main shooting area. Turn right at that road where the gate is, go about 1/2 mile, turn right just before the bridge.

Sounds good.

ETA: is there a time yet?

No specific details on time yet. With the amount of trash out there it will probably be most of the day.

I would be very interested. I usually take one extra bag and haul some trash out. Believe it or not, I think it would look a lot worse if some of us didn't hump out more than our share of teh trash. Count me in.

I have never been to Pawnee, but would love to help make sure we (The firearm owning citizens) continue to have a place to shoot.

Just a few questions...

Is this a family friendly activity?  I may be able to bring a few volunteers from my Church youth group.  So long as there is not excessive profanity, and no drinking, I am sure I can get a few to come help.

What equipment will be provided?  And what should each person (team) bring?

I'll try to get more details when it gets closer to the date. As far as I know the Forest Service is going to provide a truck to haul the trash I assume volunteers will need to bring shovels, buckets, rakes, gloves, etc. I have thought about asking Orchards Ace Hardware (they sell firearms) in Loveland to donate tools and buckets.

I had to talk to my son first because he has a soccer game that day and I wanted to make sure he wouldn't be mad if I missed it. He told me it was fine if I missed his game he said "It's more important for you to go out there and help. I don't want it to get shut down because it is too dirty. I like going out there to shoot." If a 7 year old can see the importance, why can't grown adults that make the mess understand? He then offered to miss his game and come along, I told him his team mates need him at the game.

Anyways I'll be there!!
