I went to a show at the fair grounds in Jannuary,  and it was a little dissapointing.  It was pretty small, and there wasn't anyone selling any ammo I needed.

The Tanner Show in in Denver was a lot better.

Let us know how it is, maybe this one will be better, being a lot father from Christmas.

It's pretty small, but I always go just to keep them alive.  I live like 2 miles away.
last couple times the ammo guy was there and he has decent stuff.

3 times ago a guy was there with some awesome high end shotguns.  haven't seen him since though.

How does it compare with Tanner and Cross Roads?

it's Itty bitty.   Proably not even a 100 tables.  Could be closer to 50.  It's small
it just happens to be close to me.

I heard on the radio its a doller off if you bring a gun.  Is that true?  Also will they have ar-15 stuff, or just hunting/handgun stuff?

Would it even be worth making the drive up from Parker?  Or should I just save my money and buy somethin' real nice at cross roads (I think it's at cross roads) on the 4th?

I wouldn't think so , as the Tanner shows are bigger and closer to you .

It's close to me .

never know what you'll find , but for sure "AR-15 items" cause that is pretty broad . I dont think they'll have the guys with tackle boxes full of every part in one

The show was/is laaaaaaame. My favorite M14 parts pusher has stopped going. I bought 3 20 round AR15 mags for $17 each as a consolation prize. 1 Adventureline and 2 NHMTG (Okay) LE marked.

I went, and felt it was not worth my $5.50.  I feel cheated.  I could have gone to the movies (Matinee) or Taco Bell with that cash.

Honestly, as lame as that was, it was bigger than last time.
I was totally bummed that the ammo guy wasn't there.
the guy right by the door had some real nice Colt double actions and a couple wilson 1911's.
But that was about it.
It was lame.
We went off to GunSport (in Boulder) afterwards and got a BRAND NEW (really, no scratches, nothing, looks barely shot at all) 1978 Colt 6" Python
and
a M1A, synthetic stock, 5 20rnd mags, a case, etc.
So, we made his day.
