I was just in the mountains today and saw snow and it got me wondering ( and hoping!) when the snow would be falling in Eastern, CO.

When how usually how much do we get in the North Central area?

Im not sure when it first snowed when I was there, I rmemeber after flying there from Buffalo NY the snow seemed slack. I think Buffalo handled it better though.

Traditionally its around Halloween. (At least when I was a kid it always was.)

Usually one quick dusting at the beginning/mid of Oct. Haloween is usually rainy, November is hot! Dec is warm. Jan it snows once or twice. Feb snows 2-3 times, March 1-3 times. Then, back into spring.

I hope we get pounded this year. We need a hard winter down here.

It's snowing at my house right now- unincorporated Jeffco, 7600 ft. It doesn't snow at our house in July or August.

We really don't get a lot of snow in the Ft. collins/Greeley area. For some reason it seems to "bounce" right over us. We go shooting out at the grasslands all year round.

BTW, you going to the funshow this weekend? Heysoos and I are going if you want to tag along.

I will be sepending part of the weekend in Wyoming at a awrm.org meet. But if I am here in CO I will go to the show with you guys.

It's the tanner show at the merchendise mart. basically 58th and I-25 sat and sunday. we're going sat.
