Members,

The following is an urgent message.

1. The Littleton City Council is meeting tonight at 7 p.m. to vote on a
proposed open carry ban for the entire city, to include all streets,
highways, byways, thoroughfares and sidewalks.  This is an obvious attempt
to circumvent the recent state pre-emption of local firearms restrictions.
ALL LITTLETON RESIDENTS ARE URGED TO ATTEND THE MEETING AND VOICE THEIR
OPPOSITION.  THERE ARE NO CURRENT PROBLEMS WITH THE CARRYING OF FIREARMS,
OPEN OR CONCEALED, IN LITTLETON AND THIS ATTEMPTED ORDINANCE IS MERE
ANTI-GUN HYSTERICS ABOUT A PROBLEM THAT DOES NOT EXIST.  The meeting will be
at 2255 W. Berry Avenue.
