I plan on attending if the drive isn't too severe.  Will bring my .458 SOCOM for anyone who wants a sore shoulder.

I will try to make this one. Going west doesnt sound like a bad idea at all. But it doesnt really matter where we go.

MAHABALI do you know of any shooting ground that direction?

Yes, Lots, but Im pretty far west, (30 miles from Utah,) most folks probibly wouldnt want to drive that far, since they are mostly from the eastern side of the state.

Are we headed to Pawnee?  If so, is there a place us northern brethren could hook up with the posse that's not so far south?

Pawnee it is. I'll ask Marlin for a Northern meeting spot.

Yes there is, in Ault there is a Texaco food shop about 1 block north of where 14 crosses 85, It has become tradition to stop there for snacks and the other ammenities. If all goes well down here and we get on the road at 9:00 we should be there by aout 10:15, 10:30 by the latest.  I'll be driving a Chevy Sliverado,Pewder metallic in color with "Honorably Discharged Vetren" license plate's.

I just got back from the shoot, and I'm red as a beet from the sun.  A great time was had by all, though only 3 of us showed up: Marlin1895, ElectricAR, and myself.  Next time let's get a few more out there.  I came home with way too much ammo.   A few pics for the curious:

Doug and Bob setting up.

Me trying out my .458 SOCOM for the first time.  Oh, yes, you'll also note the Hawaiian National Guard uniform.

Bob with his .30-06 semiauto.  Say, shouldn't that gun be banned?

Doug takes aim with his SKS.

Damn! I wanna go!
BTW thanks for the good deal on the Marlin 9mm Marv.

Let me know which day the June shoot will be well in advance so that I can take the day off and be able to go this time.  If it's on Saturday again Sam (Heysoos on the co-15 board) will go with us as well.

Glad you guys had a great time!

Works with me.  I've put in for it as a day off.
Let me know.  Of course Pawnee always works for my cause I live in Windsor!  Doesn't really matter, I'll go where ever you guys decide.

Can someone clue me in with directions to Pawnee?  How accessible is the shooting area to those of us driving Honda Civics?  How far from Fort Fun?
