King County (Seattle and suburbs) regional homeless authority wants 75% more money.  If they get it, somehow the only thing they'll have to show for it is more money being wasted.  There will be just as many or more homeless and junkies in the streets doing the same thing they're doing now.

The county is putting homeless into hotels in some cities like Seatac and telling the city government to suck it up when they complain. No extra security, no social workers, no drug treatment, just cram them into a building and hope for the best it seems.

Those 6 figure administrative salaries won’t pay themselves, you know?

Democrat Party is full of grifters.

“Homeless Industrial Complex”.

The first time I heard that term, I was bowled over at its sheer brilliance.

There is no other way to describe it.

For those of you on Facebook, check out the group “Speak Out Seattle”; on Instagram, “seattle.looks.like.shxt”. Some great stuff to follow there.

Seattle Police Guild has a weekly talk show and has had some good guests who discuss this situation. The shows have that exact title. I’ll try to find a link for it.

Its amazing how with a bigger and bigger budget, homeless services in numerous liberal cities seem to accomplish nothing on the ground.  You'd think after spending countless millions of dollars, there would be less junkies and deranged homeless out there.  But of course not, all that is accomplished is a waste of money.

Unless they start arresting the junkies for drug possession (of hard drugs no less) and putting the deranged into mental institutions, nothing will change in the streets.

Exactly. They discuss this in the show. They discuss that some of the homeless people they have met have one or even more than one room in a hotel or tiny house village, but still go back out on the street to deal and do drugs.

Increasing funding for "services" attracts more.

Like anyone would be surprised if you shovel more shit onto a pile, you get more flies.
