Howdy ya'll, first time posting in the WA htf.

Quick background if you care: my younger brother moved to Seattle a few years ago; he arrived a liberal and has been red pilled completely now. I'm trying to convince him to move away but in the meantime, he's living there w/out a self-defense firearm. I was just talking to him 10" ago and he told me that he and his fiance drove to a Cabelas last week and all they had were maybe 4-5 handguns and all were 22lr.

I told him I'd send him a pistol or two and ammo to train with, and I recommend they take a class together. I have three questions though -

1) can anyone recommend an FFL in Seattle who will accept shipments from a private party (he lives in the University district)?

2) any local laws I need to be aware of, such as mag cap or whatever?

3) recommendations for a local-ish trainer/class? He grew up hunting and shooting but will be super rusty, and I don't know if she has ever shot. I'd say they need a minimum 1/2 day intro/basic handling type thing to start.

There's a waiting period to take possession of pistols now, even if you have a CPL.

My dad has shipped firearms to me through Precise Shooter in Lynnwood. They accept private shipments and are super easy to deal with.

Visit Sportsman's Warehouse in Everett or Skagit Arms. Plenty of 9mm handguns left. At sportsmans, you can order online, go to the store to do the paperwork, wait 10 days, and pickup the gun.

Sportsman's doesn't release after 10 days. Tons of stories of people waiting 2-3+ months

Really? Why would they do that? Seems counterintuitive to a relationship with your customers. I've never shopped there, so I have no idea.

Company policy. They don't release until the police department gives a definite proceed, which most aren't in any hurry to do

Weird. Doesn't seem like a great policy to my from my perspective. I guess I can see why they might do that. I don't agree though.
