I got an account warning Friday for posting " if your deal falls through, I'll take it"
I have gotten 4-5 deals that way after guys welch out of deals. Crowboy caught the post 24 hours later and had to flex his Mod muscle. "Unneeded bumping of an add" is the violation. I feel bad for the guys that use the EE out of desperation to sell gear to pay bills, etc. I bet if ARFCOM could figure out away to charge for EE adds, like Ebay they would have no problems with bumping. |

Staff members could use some term limits too, IMO. Laurels aint for resting on. FWIW and like you, in the time that I modded the WA HTF, I warned only 2 people, once each. And, after about five years modding in the handgun section, only 1 warning has been required, (tried handling that one via IM, but the member didn't accept IMs *sigh*). It's amazing how little formal discipline is required when respect is earned and always returned. Treat people like children, damned if they won't act like them. What a nutty world this is. |
