Nothing left but an abandoned RR grade according to the sat photos.  I went through Soap Lake (nearest town, SW of Bacon) a couple years ago going up to Mansfield to fly rockets.

Mmmmm, Bacon.

Good club/range in Ephrata.  Sky diving at the airfield.

There are plenty of high vantage points to monitor ingress/egress.  The area around the alkali lakes is pretty rugged.  it looks like an area was already knocked down, perhaps the old town of Bacon.  Water is available as evidenced by the irrigation circles SE of Bacon.  Question is if it is potable.

If you follow that Wilson creek road to Odessa (little ass town) and head on Batum towards I5, you (wont) see the Titan 1 silo I worked at on the right hand side of the road.

Agreed.  Water can be boiled or with some of the eguneer folk we have, someone could do up a purification system.

Is it still active? Why the redacted part?

Appears to be 3 silos?  Interesting that the section in front of the silo base is whited out.

Nope, scrapped out in the 60's after de-activated.  I don't know why the parts whited out, it isn't in any of the other million pics of the place online.  All it is is open plowed field.

I worked there for a bit last year as a caretaker for a startup company which fizzled a bit.

40k square feet of usable space under ground.
Video of the inside is all over youtube.

I checked it on map quest, and it looks like it's planted with wheat. Which makes sense since it had been plowed in around Sep-nov of last year. I don't know if  Google maps blanked it out thinking it was wrong or what.

The facility is pretty cool, sits on 57 acres of land, at one of the higher points in the area, 1500 feet above the water table, so it doesn't flood like the other two do (in warden, and one other spot).
