If I remember correctly it's a drama centering around a NG or Reserve unit over in the sandbox.  Good concept, but Hollywood screwed it up in my opinion.  Had some decent gun play though.

I saw a few episodes.  FX I believe.  Good action flick,  but keep in mind it's a TV show.. Like Gibby said, good gun play / gun porn.  Hell, it's better then having to watch Desperate housewivessluts!!

I liked both. There were some elements of over there that I was surprised hollywood got right. Just some of the way military interacts with each other that civilians don't. But in their quest to keep making episodes, the characters began to change and it wasn't the same.

I remember Over There from a couple of years ago.  From what I can remember, it was pretty decent.

Now Breaking Bad....That show is awesome.  Full of win.

"Over There" sucked teh dogz nutz.

Way too Hollywierd, the unit compisition/mission/troop interaction is grossly misleading. If you watch it fromt he standpoint that you're really watching a distillation of three or four units, Infantry, MP, Transport/truck drivers and some pogue unit infested with female troops and the scenarios are also a distillation of everything that happened to those units in a three to five day time span, I'd say it's still "sub-OK".

To much horseshit to make it enjoyable for me to watch with screaming at the TV, scaring the wife and kids.
